INARA SOURCING LIMITED ("Inara Sourcing", "we", "our" or "us") is an apparel buying house and sourcing company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through inarasourcing.com (the "Site") and in our dealings with buyers and suppliers, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Who We Are
Inara Sourcing is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We work with apparel brands and retailers around the world, sourcing and following up production of circular knit, sweaters, sportswear, outerwear, denim and woven garments through partner factories in Bangladesh. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
Most of what we hold is information a buyer or supplier chooses to share with us:
Contact form: your name, email address and the message you write.
Email, phone, WhatsApp, WeChat or LinkedIn: your name, job title, company, contact details and whatever you include in your messages.
Business enquiries and orders: product requirements, tech packs, designs, artwork, target prices, quantities, delivery schedules and shipping details. This is mainly business information, but it can include the names and contact details of the people involved.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information (such as health, religious or financial account details). We do not need it to provide our services.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the pages and protect the Site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers or social media pixels on the Site, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information only to run our business with you:
To reply to your enquiry and send a confirmation that we received it.
To prepare quotations, arrange samples and plan production with our partner factories.
To manage orders, quality inspections, shipments and payments.
To keep business records required by accounting, tax and export rules.
To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or misuse of the contact form.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and growing our sourcing business and keeping the Site secure, and compliance with our legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only when needed, and only with:
Partner factories and suppliers: the product details and delivery requirements needed to quote and produce your order. We share buyer contact details only when this is necessary for the order.
Service providers: Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Resend (delivery of contact form messages and confirmations), Framer (supplies some of the Site's page scripts and images) and our business email provider. They handle the information on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments.
Logistics, inspection and payment partners: freight forwarders, shipping lines, inspection agencies and banks, where needed to complete an order.
Authorities: where required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or others.
A successor business: if Inara Sourcing is reorganised, merged or sold, subject to this policy.
5. International Transfers
We are based in Bangladesh, and some of our service providers are based in the United States or other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your own country, including in countries whose data protection laws differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Cookies
The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies, but parts of the Site may then not work correctly.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up. If an enquiry does not lead to business, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact. For buyers and suppliers we work with, we keep order and business records for as long as our relationship continues, and afterwards for as long as accounting, tax or export laws require.
8. Security
The Site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and access to enquiries and order files is limited to the Inara Sourcing team members who need them. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU or UK GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA or Brazil's LGPD), you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it.

Withdraw consent where we rely on it.

The Site links to other services, including WhatsApp, WeChat and LinkedIn. If you contact us through them, their own privacy policies also apply. We are not responsible for how those services handle your information.

The Site is intended for business users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will highlight them on this page.
